Buffalo, NY
We had an extremely wet and cold ride in from Houghton, NY to Buffalo today, complete with somewhere around 30 flat tires between the individual members of the group. Turns out our tires don't like to be wet!
About half the group took the opportunity to take a peek at Niagara Falls, while (nearly) everyone enjoyed a spectacular dinner hosted by a pair of church members in a spectacular townhouse. The meal included everything from tofu veggie kabobs to salmon and halibut to sushi and more. Three of us--me, Bill, and Matt Y--enjoyed the festivities a bit less because we had just completed an authentic Buffalo Wing eating contest. The final score was 36-34.5-30, with good times had by all at the time, if not after.
